DANA STEMPIL HERZBERG, M.ED., President and Educational Consultant
One of Arizona ’s leading educators dedicated to meeting the needs of students of all abilities, Dana is a recognized expert in educating and coaching students with AD/HD and learning disabilities. Dana earned a master’s degree (Summa Cum Laude) in Curriculum and Instruction, with a focus on brain-based learning, twice exceptionalities and multisensory curriculum from ASU, where she also graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Special Education.
Dana purchased On-Track in 1999 with the vision of helping students achieve academic success. Able to overcome her own learning challenges and to recognize her potential through strategic learning approaches and the help of excellent tutors, it is her aspiration that the On-Track tutors and coaches provide the same support to individuals and families struggling at any level.
Dana provides educational recommendations on neuropsychological/psychoeducational evaluations for several Arizona clinicians, educational consulting and advocacy, and is a CHADD group facilitator in the name of Dr. Clare Jones. Dana’s professional affiliations include the Council for Exceptional Children; CHADD (Children and Adults with AD/HD); the International Dyslexia Association; the International Reading Association, and the National Tutoring Association.
Dana resides in Phoenix with her husband, David and 3-year-old son, Nathan.
SHARI SCHWARTZ, B.F.A., V.P. Design and Marketing,Communications
In 2006, Shari joined our team to help give On-Track a competitive edge. A graduate of the U of A, Shari has extensive experience in small business management, public relations, marketing, and business development. Shari’s creative talents can be seen in our website and printed materials. She is responsible for website design, management and automation; online programs; marketing; and resources for tutors and clients. Shari resides in Phoenix with her husband, Marc, and 5-year-old son, Zachary.

Amanda Burke, B.A.E., School-Based Programs Coordinator, Director of Client Relations
Amanda has her bachelors degree from ASU in elementary education with an emphasis in early childhood education. She has enjoyed working with children in various environments including whole and small group classroom instruction, one-on-one rehabilitation with children with autism, and during- and after-school athletic programs for children of various ages and abilities. Experienced with students ages 3 to 15 in all areas of education, Amanda brings contagious enthusiasm and professionalism to ensuring each student’s success. Amanda resides in Phoenix with her husband, Jake, and 1-year-old daughter, Kadence.
Nicole Jewell, B.A.E., Site-Based Progams Coordinator, Early Childhood Education Specialist
A tutor with On-Track for more than 7 years, Nicole received her degree specializing in early childhood education and ESL from ASU. A strong student throughout her own educational career, Nicole was mentored by owner/president Dana Herzberg to become On-Track’s first peer tutor. Nicole also has extensive experience working with young children, having worked as a preschool teacher while earning her degree. Nicole’s passion for education, dynamic personality, and creativity make her an excellent teacher and interventionist.
Jill Drowne, M.Ed., S.E.S. (Supplemental Educational Services) Coordinator
Jill joined On-Track as a special education tutor in 2002. Her dynamic personality coupled with her extensive knowledge of learning styles and cognitive strategies quickly filled her tutoring schedule. A Teach for America core member and Master’s level teacher, Jill has had the experience and training that make her an outstanding diagnostician and educator. In addition to her management responsibilities, Jill has contributed strategies to our study skills curriculum, Foundations©, and has developed a unique, multisensory approach to teaching mathematics.
Susan Tanner, M.A., Master Instructor, Director of Standardized Test Preparation
A respected, in-demand member of On-Track’s team since 2004, Susan earned her bachelor’s in English and master’s in rhetoric, both at ASU. Susan has experience teaching for national SAT prep programs and has also developed her own intensive course material with great success. She has instructed numerous students who have received perfect scores as well as more than a dozen who became National Merit Scholars. A National Merit Scholar herself, Susan scored the highest possible 36 on the ACT, a 1540 (out of a possible 1600) on the SAT, and scored in the top 95% on the GRE. Most recently, she earned a near perfect score on the LSAT.
